Bored!!!!! and beyond...

Landon is recuperating very well. The wound is continuing to heal, praise God. He is still receiving daily nourishment through iv and having wound care nurses twice a week.
He is getting bored. There is only so much reading, or watching dvd's etc you can do.
He needs your phone calls or visits. He is also going to celebrate his 23rd birthday on Oct 3rd.
There is not a lot of celebrating he can do because of his condition. Also...his blood count is low and he may have to receive 2 units of blood as an outpatient. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
If you are not a regular blogger, you can leave him a comment by posting anonymously and then putting your name at the end of your comment.
God Bless all of you who have been so kind to the family during this time.

Dear Landon
Happy Birthday. I am so glad that you are feeling better! What dvd's are you watching? Have you seen the Pirates of the Caribbean movies yet? They are awesome! Once when I was sick, I read 7 books in one day! I love you and I am still praying for you!
May fair Winds Find YOU!

Dear Landon,

I hope you have a very Happy Birthday! We are praying for a complete and rapid recovery!

If you are feeling bored, that is good! That means you are doing better!

I remember you as far back as about two years of age! You would go to Houston and visit your Nana a Pop and you were the Apple of their eyes! (You probably still are) Back then you were the lonely only! You had no competition! Your mother used to put you in the high chair and your favorite food was wieners. You called them meanies!

I am your Aunt Wanda's daughter-in-law. I am married to Kerry Wayne and next month we will have been married for 21 years. Kerri Elizabeth and Larrilyn Hope are our girls.

Please take care and don't worry, I won't embarrass you by telling you other ancient stories.

My popcicle choice would have been grape!

love
